Rep. Attica Scott

Attica Scott represented Kentucky’s 41st district in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She was the first Black woman elected to the Kentucky General Assembly and ran for Kentucky’s third congressional district.

McNary Group provided consulting to Rep. Attica Scott on three pieces of legislation:

  • BR 22 – Breonna’s Law for Kentucky
  • BR 77 – Maternal Care Act
  • BR 169 – CROWN Act

The scope of work included coalition consultation, media and press advising, and creation of collateral, including legislative issue briefs and talking points for advocates.

McNary Group’s work with Representative Scott prompted the publication “How police no-knock raids have injured and terrorized children”.
